3. What is the name of the last song you listened to? "Paper Planes" by M.I.A.
4. Do you like to text? Does a fat baby have gas? YES!

Happy Happy!! Joy Joy!!
Cort and I are not in the habit of splurging on things or spending a lot of money on ourselves, but occasionally we like to spoil each other. Last night just happened to be one of those occasions! We went to Wal Mart to "look" at the treadmills, and to just "check and see" if they had PlayStation 3. Who were we kidding? We left the store with empty wallets, an overflowing shopping cart, and very big grins. Cort got me the aforementioned treadmill so that I can run at home instead of at the meat market they call a gym! (And because I'm too lazy to ever use my gym pass, so this will actually end up saving us money. Ha ha!) I got Cort the PlayStation 3 because his birthday is coming up (only a month away), and because he has been working so hard at his job, school, and applying to Grad School. We got a great deal on the treadmill, and I've attached a pic of the exact one we bought. My favorite thing about it is that it comes with a cord that hooks to your ipod and plays from the speakers. It also has a fan, and it folds up easily so it doesn't take up too much room. All in all I'm quite thrilled with our "splurges", and can safely say they won't go to waste. I already ran two miles this morning and Cort is playing his PS3 as I type. Bottom line: We came.. We saw.. We bought.. And we really don't regret it! (At least not until the bill comes in the mail.) :)

Snow Dogs
This past weekend (in between the storms) we took our pups to play in the snow at the golf course behind our house. Krull and Ripley have so much fun there in the winter, and they love to scare the ducks on the pond while we try to feed them bread. They got totally covered in snow, but didn't seem to mind one bit. Sometimes I wish I was that carefree. (Note Ripley's killer beard. She looks like an old man)

Christmas Visitors (pint-sized)
This Christmas was one of the best we've had in a long time!! My whole family was in town for the holidays making my parents' house pretty full. Cort and I slept over on Christmas Eve, along with my 2 brothers, their wives, their three babies, and my parents. Not to mention my parents' 3 dogs and one cat, and our two pups. (Sadly our cats had to stay home!) I've heard that a crowded house is a happy house, and I'm definitely a believer!
There were only two things that could have made this Christmas better: 1.) If Cort's sister and her cute family were in town. We miss them so much, and were sad we didn't get to see our other little niece and nephew this year. 2.) We also wish the babies hadn't been sick. They all had the sniffles, and our nephew Kolin (not pictured), actually got pneumonia while he was in town. The poor lil' guy spent Christmas day in the hospital. Good thing babies look WAYYYY more adorable than adults do when they have runny noses!

Here is Lil' Ty with one of his many Chistmas toys.

Santa bought Tatum her first Cabbage Patch Doll!

RJ, Jenn and Tatum. Love you guys!

Tyler was trying to be incognito... but look at those eyes!

Tatum was kind enough to help RJ unwrap his gifts! ;)

Tatum is so good at giving her Aunt "Keesa" smooches!

I wish all of our siblings and their families lived closer to us, but it really does make it more special when they come to visit. I'm happy to say that my Christmas was complete this year... with the whole Rasmussen gang in town. I hope it's this way for many Christmases to come!

New Year's Mistake!!!

So I have finally had some time off work to Blog, and I decided to make a new background and give my blog a fresh look (kind of try and re-vamp what we had going on for the New Year, ya know?) Well wouldn't you know it, but when I disabled my blog I accidentally DELETED THE WHOLE THING!!!! Just call me Miss Computer-Unsavvy. After screaming and hitting the keyboard, I went to bed with the defeated acceptance that my blog was forever gone. I decided to ask my computer-savvy-blogging-genius coworkers if they could help me create a new template and blog, and not only did they point me in the right direction, but they actually FOUND MY BLOG! (Well Sorta). Thanks Alli and Rachel!!! They found my old blog pages and sent them to me, but I still have to repost them and everything, which is a huge pain, but is better than not having them at all. So I should have my blog mostly back to normal in the next day or so. Then maybe I'll have the time to post something new. I swear, if I didn't have bad luck I would have no luck at all! Happy New Year anways!!
